Authentic-Life Counseling provides meditation instruction to individuals as well as corporate mindfulness training to organizations.

People have different reasons for wanting to learn how to meditate.

Individuals may wish to learn meditation to improve their mental and emotional health, reduce stress and anxiety, or improve concentration.

Corporations are eagerly implementing mindfulness and meditation practices to develop kinder and more productive work environments, reduce health costs, and improve employee performance.

I have extensive experience with various modalities of meditation which allows me to introduce appropriate practices as well as guide progression.

The personal benefits I have realized through my meditation practice, as well as the benefits reported by the many clients I have instructed include:

  • Emotional Regulation

  • More relaxed

  • Happier

  • A sense of well-being rather than an overall general sense of ill-being.

  • Clearer thinking

  • More decisive

  • Improved problem solving

  • Insights and understanding

I believe that meditation is as essential to mental health as water is to physical health.

Corporations recognize the benefits of mindfulness and meditation are responding by establishing a culture of mindfulness, in order to enhance employee wellness and productivity.

Some of the recent research findings include:

  • 45 workplace mindfulness studies have connected mindfulness to improved relationships at work, increased collaboration, and employee resilience.

  • A 2012 study found that mindfulness reduced employee emotional exhaustion and increased employee work-life balance.

  • Reduced stress has been associated to increased creativity- a necessary skill for business success in today’s marketplace.
