This Month's Topic:  Mindful Communication

What to Expect:

Mindful Sharing: We will begin with an optional mindful sharing session, where you can discuss your experiences, benefits, or challenges with mindfulness and meditation. During this time, we will practice mindful speaking and listening.

This Month's Topic: Mindful Communication

In our interconnected world, effective communication is crucial, yet often challenging.

Mindful Communication goes beyond mere words, encompassing our attitudes, emotions, and inner clarity. This practice recognizes that our communication is profoundly influenced by our internal state: our choice of words, the attitudes we hold while speaking, our feelings towards the listener, and even our own confusion about the subject matter. All these factors shape not just what we say, but how we say it—affecting both our verbal content and our tone. By bringing mindfulness to our interactions, we can become more aware of these subtle influences, leading to clearer, more authentic, and more compassionate exchanges. This month, we'll explore techniques to enhance our awareness in conversations, fostering deeper understanding and more meaningful connections with others.

Silent Meditation:

Our practice will conclude with a 20-minute silent sitting meditation, including a segment with crystal singing bowls.

RSVP: Please RSVP as space is limited. Email me at Diane@authentic-life.ent

Donations:

While the event is free, we will accept cash donations for my brother, The Pirate, and his partner, The Wench, who provide basic necessities to the homeless in Pensacola, Florida.

Note:

This event is not a substitute for therapy or mental health treatment.

All are welcome, regardless of experience level.
